It is possible to connect to an audio conference call anywhere in the world and with any regular or mobile telephone device that allows for touch-tone dialing.
Audio conference calls are not limited in time and have the capacity of holding up to 300 participants. With advance notice, we even have solutions available for thousands of participants. In regular conference calls, participants enter in a speaking and listening mode, however, this is not recommended for conference calls with large amounts of participants. For conference calls with large amounts of participants we strongly recommend our Audio Events services. For events requiring hundreds of participants, it is recommended to use one of our webcasting services or a combination of our services to achieve optimal exposure. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss with you all the options available for these types of events.
In automatic audio conference calls, the first participant that enters the meeting room will hear music until he or she is joined by a second participant. Additionally, there are several ways to know the meeting's attendance. You will be able to set up a meeting room with entry/exit notifications for each participant joining and leaving the conference call. Also, Veidan offers assisted audio conference calls where one of our representatives will be able to give you live details about your conference call.
Veidan's conferencing system with its hundreds of incoming and outgoing lines can handle the simultaneous entry of all the participants in your conference call. When participants happen to dial an access number simultaneously, they simply enter the conference call simultaneously and can begin chatting.
Your conference security is on the top of our priorities as a service provider and, as such, our services are devoted to making your conference call extremely secure. For example, every conference call is only accessible through a secret access code given to the meeting organizer. Additionally, Veidan's incoming and outgoing lines are secured optical lines. The meeting organizer can request entry/exit notification of each participant entering and leaving the conference call. The entry/exit notification can be set as a special tone or as a recording of the participant's name, requested before entry to the conference call. Veidan can also set up an assisted conference call where after entering the conference room's code, and as an added security measure, they are attended by our representatives. Participants are only granted access to the conference upon confirmation and permission from the meeting's moderator. Needles to say, Veidan's employees all undergo a rigorous screening process, continual security checks, and are signed under strict confidentiality and privacy agreements.
For the added benefit of showing visual content we offer our web conferencing services. Our web conferencing services are complete conferencing solutions in themselves that combine audio, video, and visual contents in one package. However, this service can complement telephone audio conference calls wonderfully by adding a dynamic visual element. Web Meetings are usually held more often and are of a smaller size than a Web Event. Typical Web Meetings are held between 2-20 participants. Interwise Connect gives you the ideal amount of interactivity for meetings of this size, yet it is versatile enough to accommodate smaller or larger types of meetings in accordance to their ideal functionality. Each participant can speak, upload materials, and annotate during the meeting. Web Events are an alternative to large-scale events such as auditorium lectures and are especially designed for conferences where one or a few people need to communicate to an audience of tens or even thousands of participants. For example, all-hands meetings or mass marketing events would be considered Web Events. Our Web Events platform allows the event moderator to have control over the event's participants and prevent interruptions from disruptive participants. Additionally, the meeting's order is preserved because the moderator has control over participants' speaking rights and their ability to upload and present materials.
Similar to any physical conference or meeting held in an auditorium with many attendees, telephone conference calls also require management by a moderator who controls the speaking order and prevents private conversations between participants. In order to assist with this process in telephone conference calls with many participants, Veidan recommends our Audio Events services. These services allow you to manage the conference calls either through Conferences Managed by a Veidan Moderator, where our representatives assist you with your event management, or through a Self-Mangaged Events, where the meeting's moderator, identified by a secret pass code, can manage the conference call. Our Audio Event service allows for simple and easy to use conference call management system: complete control over participant speaking rights (Mute/Talk) and management tools for the Q&A session. Included in the service are several useful features, including the ability to create and transfer participants into private sub-conferences (break out sessions).

Our Web Meetings service allows for meetings with up to 100 participants.
Our Web Events service has the capacity for up to 10,000 participants. The concept of a webinar has evolved in recent years to become one of the preferred ways that companies choose to hold large-scale meetings, being both easy for participants to use and allowing them the optimal access to information by saving time and effort. The fact is that webinars are constantly used to overcome physical distance between organizations and, as such, offers the opportunity for smaller companies targeting large audiences to achieve maximal and effective exposure at a minimal cost.
Depending on the sensitivity of your conference and the level of assistance that is needed, you can choose between Veidan's audio conferencing services as the audio portion of your web conference, or between the web conferencing platform's own built-in audio features. These features give participants the choice for an audio connection to the web conference via their personal computer, using speakers and a microphone, using VoIP technology, or to connect using their regular telephone using special dial-in instructions. Using a telephone for an audio connection is an excellent way for participants who do not have computer access or for participants whose computers are not equipped with microphones and speakers to still partake in the conference.
You can invite participants either through your "My Interwise" interface (after clicking the "My Interwise" icon) or through your Outlook when setting up an event. You also have the option to invite participants right from your online meeting room. When you invite participants, you will be prompted to enter their e-mail addresses, after which an e-mail invitation with instructions will be sent to them. If your web event is set for a later date, the e-mail will state the date and time they should enter. Your participants will click a link in the e-mail which will take them to an internet page with a prompt for their name and e-mail address. They will then have the option of entering the event directly, or if they do not have Interwise Connect, it will give them the option to download the latest version first. After these easy steps are completed, your participant will be able to enter your room and fully participate in the meeting. Alternatively, your room has a "Room Number ID" specific to your own meeting room. If your participants have already used Interwise Connect, or have been part of a previous online meeting, you can give them your room number to be entered in the Join Event or Meeting bar in their "My Interwise" interface. Note: The meeting will not be opened until the Presenter (the owner of the meeting room) enters first.

Our technicians can be sent to any site in Israel. However, in order for us to set up a video conference from your office, it is necessary for you to have the necessary communications infrastructure: Your office must have at least 3 ISDN lines available (for us to achieve a stable connection of K384) or a symmetric high-speed internet connection.
It is very hard to compare these two services. Our video conferencing services are a true substitute for face-to-face meetings. This service is tailored for meetings where it is very important for both sides to clearly see one another, including their body language and facial expressions. The excellent video quality, the clear advantage of using this service, is based on the high-connection and frame-per-second rates in addition to the use of advanced video protocols for effective data compression to optimize available bandwidth and for the symmetric communication necessary for two-way calls.
Internal bridging systems usually offer the ability to connect only a small number of end-points. These multiple connections come at the cost of the connection rate which often results in a degradation of the call's video quality. For example, a site equipped with 3 ISDN lines (each line allowing a connection rate of K128) interested in connecting to other end-points cannot do so at the K384 connection rate because the connection to the ISDN lines is divided between the three end-points. By contrast, our video bridging services offer the needed K384 connection to all end-points, allowing each an optimal video quality experience. An additional benefit of our video bridging service is that it allows you to connect greater amount of end-points than you can connect using an internal bridge.
Our video conferencing services, using Polycom's award-winning technologies, make it possible to connect tens of end-points.
As previously stated, our equipped technicians can be sent anywhere in Israel to operate video conferences from anywhere with the necessary infrastructure (see above). This means that the number of participants in each end-point depends on the size of the room or auditorium where your conference will be held.
Participants that do not have video conferencing equipment or the necessary infrastructure can be connected, using a regular telephone line, to the audio portion of the conference only. In this way, they can listen and chat with the participants of the conference, but will not be able to see them.
It is possible to show visual presentations (slideshows, charts and graphs, etc.) in a video conference simultaneously along with the video element of seeing the participants. For conferences were the visual presentation has a higher priority than video of the participants, we recommend our web conferencing services that does allow participants to communicate by use webcams through video windows integrated into the platform, but is a powerful tool for conducting presentations using the computer.
The speaker function in available in almost every office telephone works well to participate in events or for dialing in to the call. It even works well for short telephone calls, but it is definitely not a suitable replacement for specialized telephone conference call equipment. In order to keep participants focused and aware to the highest degree possible during a long telephone conference, it is not enough to place the call on speaker phone. The conference phones that we offer you are especially designed to guarantee excellent sound quality so that you won't have to strain to hear or strain your voice to be heard while trying to focus on the content of your conference call. Certainly, you may have noticed that by using the speaker function on your regular telephone, you strain to hear a little more than if you were using your telephone receiver. Similarly, no doubt, you have noticed that you naturally raise your voice and move closer to the device when using the speaker function. Of course, this is not a problem for quick calls, but for telephone conferences, you should look for devices that allow you to speak to your participants as if they are in the same room with you. Polycom's award-winning conference phones specifically provide you with this comfort. The conference phones' highly sensitive microphones and powerful speakers will guarantee that you won't have to strain so that you can stay focused on your call.
No. All of Polycom's conference phones connect to a regular telephone outlet. The phones will only connect to analog phone jacks.
The ability to conduct a conference call with a number of participants is a function of the switchboard or PBX the phone is connected to. If the switchboard or PBX the phone is connected through an analog connection allows for conferencing with a number of participants, then you will be able to conduct a conference call with the conference phone just as you would using a regular telephone. In any case, despite having a switchboard or PBX you can hold high quality conference calls with a wide range of participants using our Audio Conferencing services.
We offer conferencing phones whose range is up to 40-50 meters from the base station, depending on the architecture of the office and the widths of its walls.
Yes. You can use the wireless conference phone even as it is charging.
A digital phone jack is a phone extension that connects telephone devices specialized for this type of extension which allows the user to perform certain functions. Most of these telephones include a large LCD screen and are made by the same manufacturer as the digital switchboard. Conference phones will not connect to these jacks. Analog phone jacks are regular telephone jacks that do not support the full functions of a digital switchboard. This jack supports all regular telephones, even if they are not from the same manufacturer as the switchboard. The aforementioned also refers to switchboard extensions as well as direct land lines that do not pass through switchboard. Polycom conference phones can only connect through analog phone jacks.

You can place an order for a conference call through our online reservation service via our website. This is done by completing an electronic order form including the call's details and your customer code. If you do not have a customer code, you can contact our call center and ask to join this service. Orders can also be placed by completing an order form and sending it via fax to 972-3-9240632. If this is your first conference call with us, you must sign our communication agreement. After we receive the appropriate signed documents, we will send you by fax or e-mail an order confirmation that will contain all the telephone access numbers for participants to use during the conference call along with any additional instructions.
Our call center is ready to take your order without any prior notice. However, it is strongly recommended not to wait a few moments before your conference and to place your order as far in advance as possible. Ordering in advance is important to conduct system checks and to guarantee the maximum availability of all the participants as well as a high quality conference call. It is recommended that we receive notice 24 hours in advance for Audio Events with a large amount of participants in order to guarantee the availability of sufficient infrastructure. This is especially important in assisted conferences where a dedicated support staff needs to be assigned to your conference.
The organizer of the conference pays for the connection between all the participants during the conference, however, when it comes to the communication charges incurred by the participants, the meeting organizer has a choice whether to pay for this and the payment method: In the "Meet Me" basic service participants pay individually for the long distance charges incurred directly to their long distance service provider (without Veidan's involvement). However, in cases where the meeting organizer is interested in a service where participants do not have to pay long distance fees themselves, Veidan can supply 1800 (toll-free) numbers from Israel or many places around the world. An additional way to bypass long distance fees incurred by the participants is through our dial-out service. With this service your participants will be connected from anywhere in the world through a dial-out call from our call center.
Firstly, it should be clarified that there are different types of web conferences: Web Meetings and Web Events. Web Events, large events of a less frequent nature than Web Meetings, are accompanied by advanced publicity as are all large events. The payment method for this type of events is made in advance and usually includes our consulting services, moderator training, and support and technical assistance during the webinar regardless of the amount of participants attending the event. Web Meetings are often used for interactive everyday meetings. You can choose between two basic payment types: pay per use or fixed price. Our fixed pricing plans offer you the advantage of paying in advance and meeting as often as you need during your subscription period in your own online web conferencing room. You can enjoy great discounts by signing up for a yearly subscription or by ordering a large number of rooms.
Our web conferencing plans allow you to have additional participants join beyond the participant maximum included in your plan (up to the 100 participant room limit) to give your web conferences a great amount of flexibility. For each participant entering after the participant maximum included in your plan, you will be charged a "per minute per participant" rate.
Our web conferencing platform allows you to use reliable VoIP technology for audio during your web conference as an integrated part of the service and at no additional cost. However, there is a "per minute" charge for participants wishing to connect using their regular telephone.
Conference detail records debited on every invoice are sent to you via e-mail simultaneously with your invoice. You should expect this e-mail to arrive a day before or a day after you receive your invoice.
Since the invoices are sent via Israeli post, there may be cases where customers located in the northern or southern regions of the country will receive them with a slight delay.
Please note that the CDRs do not include taxes which are calculated in the invoices.
The payment is calculated by the amount of participants in the conference multiplied by the number of minutes of each participant in the conference multiplied by the rate of the service that was used (through a regular (03) number/ through an international 1800 number/ through a dial-out service by our call center, etc.).
The CDRs are sent in an Acrobat Reader PDF format and each file can include more than a single page or call. Please scroll further down the document using your mouse.
