We believe that one of the most important missions of every company, large or small, is to contribute to the community and to environmental quality. This belief has been actively demonstrated by Veidan since its establishment, and we continue to contribute our modest share in the following fields.

Assisting Non-profit Organizations
Many charitable organizations in Israel do remarkable work in supporting disadvantaged communities and rectifying social injustices. Since their budgets are based mostly on donations, they must be managed efficiently, with expenses kept to a minimum. Using teleconferencing services to promote their activities is economical and efficient for them and to that end Veidan permits charitable organizations to use its services at cost price.
In addition, Veidan has "adopted" ELIYA, an organization dedicated to helping blind and visually impaired toddlers and children in Israel, donating to it a fixed percentage of our annual net income.

Environmental Quality
Veidan's sphere of activity itself constitutes a contribution to environmental quality, since utilizing our various conferencing solutions as an alternative to face-to-face meetings saves car journeys and flights, thereby reducing air pollution and energy consumption. For example, a meeting between five participants each located in a different location. Even if all of them are in Tel Aviv, the average travel time for four of the participants will be not less than half an hour each, so that their total travel time in this case will be two hours or more adding to the city's air pollution; two hours with their car engines running, adding to the city's air pollution.
