We place special emphasis on maintaining confidentiality and securing all conference calls, and we provide our customers with tools to control the level of security according to the degree of sensitivity of their conference calls.
Filtering Tools
These filtering tools include: - A unique pass-code comprised of digits of with an option to adjust the number of digits as required
- Participant entry/exit warnings with name capture or dedicated entry/exit tones.
- A discreet call moderator pass-code. enabling him/her to perform a variety of control and monitoring functions using the telephone keypad only, such as: call locking, roll call and disconnecting participants.
- An Internet interface, enabling the conference call moderator to view the lines connected to the conference call and their source in real time.
- Dial-out to participants by Veidan operators followed by call monitoring and supervision to ensure access only to those authorized.
You can access conference calls in one of three ways ( your participants need not all use the sa may use any or all in any call):
"Meet Me" - With this connection method, participants to a conference call will receive a local telephone number in Israel (03). On the date of the conference call, the participants call the telephone number that they received, and, according to the type of conference call, they will either be asked to enter their pass code or be routed directly to the virtual conference room.
With this type of connection each participant pays his/her own telephone company toll charges while the customer pays Veidan's conferencing service charges.
"Meet Me - 1 800" - Unlike "Meet Me Directly," with this type of connection participants to the conference call access the conference call by dialing toll-free 1-800 numbers in Israel and/or in dozens of countries abroad. Here the customer reserving the conference pays Veidan's conferencing service charges as well as telephone company toll charges incurred by participants.
"Dial out" - Using a list containing the names of the designated participants and their telephone numbers Veidan's operators will dial out to them and place them in conference. This method is suitable for connecting participants who prefer not to dial in themselves or those located in countries where international toll-free service is limited or unavailable.
As mentioned, you may combine the various connection types according to your requirements, and specify which participants are to be supplied with regular toll numbers, which are to be supplied with toll-free 1-800 numbers, and which should be placed in conference by Veidan's dial-out service.
There are two different ways to use our audio conferencing meeting service. Your choice depends on the frequency, scope and type of use you foresee.
Reservationless service
A permanent virtual conference room ensures maximum availability of the service. The access numbers and pass codes supplied exclusively to you will enable you to hold conference calls at any time you wish, without having to coordinate or schedule calls with Veidan's service center.
In these virtual conference rooms, you can define a moderator's code thereby providing the meeting moderator or chairperson with tools to independently manage the conference call: Opening the conference call only when the moderator is present, monitoring attendance and controlling participation to the call, dialing out to additional participants. Audio events are an economical and very efficient alternative to face-to-face conventions and lectures, in which a large audience listens to a small group of speakers. This interactive service enables the participants to respond and ask questions according to a speaking order controlled by the moderator.
Conferences Managed by a Moderator
A Veidan moderator manages your conference call and takes care of everything for you, thus ensuring that you are free to concentrate on content.
The telephone events service is an economical and very effective substitute for conventions and frontal lectures in which one or more people wish to address a large audience. With conference sessions of this type, the moderators or discussion leaders addressing the participants are defined ahead of time. All other participants are placed in "listen-only" mode. A "Question & Answer" session is typically held after the moderators have finished their initial presentation. At this stage the "listen-only" participants are instructed to signal their wish to be given the floor by pressing keys on their telephone keypad. This operator-attended service identifies and queues those wishing to comment or pose questions and moves them successively from "listen-only" to "speak and listen" mode, and then introduces them by name. During the Q&A period all participants are able to hear those commenting or asking questions as well as the moderator's response. This service is particularly suited to public or investor relations activities, press conferences and training and briefing sessions. Stock exchange-traded companies typically employ this service on a quarterly basis. These companies announce the conference call time, date and telephone numbers to coincide with the release of their financial results. Analysts and investors around the world participate in these telephone events. At the end of the event, the Veidan moderator sends you a list of the participants.

Self Managed Events
This service is more suitable for large forums who meet on a regular basis, and do not require names and details of participants. Unlike conferences managed by a moderator, the invited participants enter the conference room directly, without having to register with Veidan representatives. In addition to the secret pass-code that is distributed to the invited parties, you will receive an additional code, which enables you, as conference moderator, to manage the event and use a variety of functions using your telephone keypad only. Among the functions we offer: conference locking, mute/unmute participants, pause the conference by playing background music, placing participants "on hold", running a "question and answer" session, and allocating floor rights. Click here to learn more about the various functions you can operate in order to run your event independently, by using the keys on your telephone keypad.
